Stir-Fried Beef And Vegetables is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 lb. boneless beef sirloin steak, 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can beef broth, 1 tbsp. cornstarch, 1 tbsp. soy sauce and 3 tbsp. vegetable oil, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Trim and discard excess fat from steak.
Cut steak into very thin slices; set aside.
In small bowl, combine soup, cornstarch and soy sauce; stir to blend.
Set aside.
In 10-inch skillet or wok over medium-high heat in 2 tablespoons hot oil, stir-fry beef strips and garlic until meat is browned.
Remove from skillet. Add remaining 1 tablespoon oil to skillet.
Add green onions and broccoli; stir-fry 1 minute.
Add bamboo shoots; stir-fry 30 seconds more.
Return the beef to skillet.
Stir in soup mixture; heat to boiling.
Cook 1 minute more.
Spoon over rice.
