Sour Cream Coffee Cake
Sour Cream Coffee Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. sugar, 2 eggs, 1 tsp. vanilla, 1/2 pt. sour cream and 1 tsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Beat sugar, eggs and vanilla thoroughly.
Blend in the sour cream.
In another mixing bowl, sift together the baking powder, soda and flour; cut in shortening.
Pour into the sugar-egg-cream mixture and mix slightly.
Do not overmix.
Pour half the batter into a small, greased tube pan and sprinkle with mixture of brown sugar, cinnamon and nuts.
Pour the remaining batter over the brown sugar, etc. and bake at 350Β° for about 40 minutes.
