Sour Cream Coffee Cake
Sour Cream Coffee Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 cup nuts, 2 teaspoons cinnamon, 1 1/2 cups of granulating sugar, 1/2 cup butter and 2 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
In a small bowl mix together finely chopped nuts, 1/2 cup sugar and 6 tablespoons of butter.
Set this aside.
Grease an angel food pan and preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Cream together 1/4 lb of butter, 1 cup sugar.
Add in the eggs sour cream, flour, baking soda and powder, and vanilla.
When combined, pour 1/2 of the batter into the prepared angel food pan.
Top with the apple slices and more chopped nuts.
Add in the remaining batter.
Bake in oven at 375 degrees for 40 minutes.
