Scotch Scones
Scotch Scones is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 1/2 c. flour, 1 lb. butter or margarine, 1 c. sugar, sprinkle of salt and nutmeg and 1 1/2 tsp. almond flavoring, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Cream sugar and margarine.
Add other ingredients.
Form into balls and pat flat about 1/2-inch thick.
Bake slowly at 300Β° about 1 hour until pale tan in color.
