Scones
Scones is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 c. flour, 4 tsp. baking powder, 4 oz. margarine, 1/3 c. sugar and 1 1/4 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Blend first four ingredients together.
Add raisins.
Blend in, then add milk.
Blend until a ball forms.
Place on floured board and knead for a few minutes.
Cut in half, make two circles. Flatten to about 2 inches thick.
Cut through each circle into eighths.
Place on greased sheet pan.
Separate wedges slightly. Brush with beaten egg.
Bake at 375Β° for 35 minutes or until golden brown.
