Sacramento Fruit Bowl
Sacramento Fruit Bowl is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. water, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 3 tbsp. lemon juice, 1/2 tbsp. salt and 1 small pineapple, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

combination of fruits.
Cook in a 2 quart saucepan, over medium heat, water, sugar, lemon juice, anise seed and salt for 15 minutes or until mixture becomes a light syrup.
Refrigerate until syrup is cool.
Peel all fruit and cut into bite size chunks.
In large bowl combine cut up fruit.
Pour chilled syrup through strainer over fruit. Cover and refrigerate until well chilled.
