Russian Tea Cakes
Russian Tea Cakes is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter or margarine, softened, 1 tsp. vanilla, 1/4 tsp. salt, 1/2 c. confectioners sugar and 2 1/4 c. all purpose flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Mix thoroughly the butter, sugar and vanilla. Work in flour, salt and nuts until dough holds together. Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 10-12 minutes at 400Β° or until set but not brown. While warm, roll in confectioners sugar. Cool. Roll in sugar again. Makes about 4 dozen cookies.
