Rumaki
Rumaki is an moderately easy dinner you can prepare in about 1 hour 10 minutes. Made with . bacon, . chicken livers, halved, . whole water chestnuts, drained and cut in half, c. soy sauce and . brown sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Cook bacon until partially cooked (browned, but still limp). Cut each slice in half and wrap around water chestnut and liver. Secure with toothpick.
In shallow dish, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, garlic powder and 1/4 cup water.
Add bacon/chicken livers and refrigerate several hours or overnight.
Turn occasionally.
Remove from marinade and place on rack in shallow pan.
Bake in 400Β° oven for 15 minutes.
Place under broiler for 2 to 3 minutes, until browned and crispy.
