Roasted Tomatoes is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 large sweet tomatoes, 4 slices of bread, 1 tsp. salt (level), 1/8 tsp. black pepper and 1/2 c. mazola oil, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Wash and dry tomatoes.

Cut in halves and scoop out seeds. Lay tomatoes in shallow pan, coated with Mazola oil.

Crumble bread in bowl.

Add parsley, basil, remaining oil, garlic salt, onion powder, salt and pepper.

Mix very lightly.

Place ingredients on each half tomato.

Bake in 375Β° oven 25 to 30 minutes.
