Rice Pulao
Rice Pulao is an impressive dinner you can prepare in about 1 hour 18 minutes. Made with c. butter, large onion, chopped, s, cardamom pods, crushed and -inch piece stick cinnamon, crushed, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Make ghee or clarified butter by melting butter and discarding solids.
Pour into a 5-quart nonstick saucepan.
Add onion, cloves, cardamom, cinnamon, peppercorns and bay leaves.
Cook, stirring over medium heat until onion is golden brown.
Reduce heat and sprinkle with 3 tablespoons of water.
Stir once.
