Potato Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. potatoes, peeled and cubed, 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can ready to serve chicken broth, 1 c. milk, 1/4 tsp. thyme and 1 tsp. margarine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Combine first 3 ingredients in a large saucepan.
Bring to a boil.
Cover, reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes or until well done.
Add milk and next 4 ingredients.
Gradually add enough instant potato flakes to make soup as thick as you like.
Cook over medium heat until thoroughly heated.
Garnish with thyme sprigs if desired.
