Poor Man's Cake
Poor Man'S Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 box raisins, 3 c. water, 2 tbsp. crisco, 2 c. sugar and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Boil raisins, water and Crisco together until raisins are plump.
Add rest of ingredients to large bowl.
Stir to combine and then add boiled mixture to dry ingredients and stir well. Pour into greased tube pan and bake 1 hour at 350Β°.
I bake this cake every Christmas.
