Oven-Fried Chicken
Oven-Fried Chicken is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/3 c. vegetable oil, 1/3 c. butter, 1 c. flour, 1 t. salt and 2 t. black pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Place the oil and butter in a shallow cooking pan (a jelly roll pan is perfect).
Place in oven at 375Β° to melt.
In a large paper bag, combine the flour and seasonings.
Roll the chicken pieces, 3 at a time, in the melted oil/butter mixture, then drop them in the paper bag.
Shake to cover.
Place on a dish or waxed paper.
