Cut steak into about 10 equal portions.
Brown in oil in skillet on both sides.
Place in roasting pan.
Saute onion in oil; add remaining ingredients.
Simmer together for about 5 minutes.

Cover and bake in preheated 350Β° oven for 2 hours or until fork-tender.
