Line a greased 13 x 9-inch pan evenly with biscuits; press to flatten biscuits and seal together, bringing biscuits 1-inch up sides of pan.
Bake at 375° for 5 to 6 minutes or until lightly browned.
Set aside.
Brown beef in a large skillet; stir in seasoning and water.
Spread beef mixture over biscuits; sprinkle cheese over top.
Bake at 375° for 15 to 20 minutes.
