Nonnie'S Coffee Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. shortening, 1 c. sugar, 1/2 tsp. baking powder, 1 1/2 c. flour and 1/2 tsp. cinnamon, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Cream shortening and sugar.
Mix flour and other dry ingredients and add together.
Blended best by using fingers. Take 1/2 cup crumbs out for topping.
Add sour milk and mix well. Pour into greased and floured 8 x 8-inch pan.
