Mary Southerland'S Broccoli Cheese Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli, 1/2 c. chopped onion, 2 tbsp. melted butter, 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of chicken soup (undiluted) and 1 1/2 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Cook the broccoli according to package directions (but do not add salt); drain well.
Saute onion in butter in a medium saucepan, then add the cooked broccoli and the remaining ingredients.
