Main Dish Tater Soup
Main Dish Tater Soup is an moderately easy soup you can prepare in about 1 hour 24 minutes. Made with c. diced potatoes, medium onion, chopped, margarine, bay leaf and chicken broth, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Cook potatoes, onion, butter and bay leaf over medium heat in a nonstick pan; stir almost constantly.
Add chicken broth.
Cook on medium heat for 30 minutes.
Mix milk and flour in blender; add to potato mixture and cook until thick.
Remove from heat.
Add sour cream and stir until smooth.
Garnish with Cheddar cheese and bacon bits.
Serves 4 to 6.
