Saute onion in melted butter in large skillet until tender (do not brown).
Add tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes.

Turn mixture into greased 3-quart casserole, alternating layers of macaroni mixture and cheese, ending with cheese layer. Bake in moderate oven (375Β°) for 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
