Jt Finger Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 42 saltine cookies, 1/2 cup butter or margarine, 1/2 cup sugar, 1 tsp. vanilla and 1 cup toasted nuts, chopped (almonds, cashews, pecans), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Line 15 X 10 X 1 inch cookie sheet with aluminum foil.
Spray well with non-stick cooking spray.
Place crackers in a single layer on sheet.
(Cover entire sheet with no holes.)
In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
Add sugar; bring to a boil stirring constantly.
Boil for 2 minutes.
Pour evenly over crackers.
Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes or until browned. Immediately after removing from oven, sprinkle chocolate chips over crackers.
Spread melted chocolate into even layer over crackers.
Sprinkle nuts over the top while chocolate is still melted.
After allowing to cool completely, you should be able to pick up the candy in one piece.
Remove foil and into 1 to 2 inch pieces.
