Hot Cherry Pudding

To Bisquick add sugar and the drained cherries.
Stir in milk to make a stiff dough.
Spread in greased 10 x 6 x 2-inch pan or 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan.
Heat the juice from the cherries with water added to make 1 1/4 cups and the remaining cup of sugar.
Also add 1/2 teaspoon almond extract and a few drops of red food coloring.
Add butter and bring to a boil.
Pour over the dough and bake for 30 minutes.
