Homestead Salad
Homestead Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (20 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables, 1/2 c. green pepper, chopped, 1 can red beans, drained and rinsed, 4 ribs celery, chopped and 1/2 c. chopped onion, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Cook and drain mixed vegetables.
Add to celery, green pepper, onion and red beans in large mixing bowl.
Cook mustard, sugar, salt, flour and vinegar, stirring, until thick.
Pour over vegetables.
Refrigerate.
Keeps a week.
