Homemade Baked Beans
Homemade Baked Beans is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 bag navy beans, 1 bag northern beans, 1 tsp. mustard, 2 onions and 2 tbsp. + brown sugar (heaping), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Soak beans overnight.
Change water several times, if possible.
Cook beans on stove 1 hour.
Divide all ingredients between 2 two-quart baking bowls.
Add additional brown sugar if you like sweeter beans.
