Holiday Fruit Salad
Holiday Fruit Salad is an moderately easy salad you can prepare in about 1 hour 30 minutes. Made with (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry flavor gelatin, c. boiling water, ripe bananas, (16 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries and (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
In large bowl, dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
Slice bananas into gelatin mixture.
Add frozen strawberries and undrained pineapple.
Pour half the mixture into a 13 x 9-inch pan.
Refrigerate 1 hour.
In mixer bowl, beat cream with sour cream and sugar; spread over chilled layer.
Gently spoon remaining gelatin mixture on top.
Refrigerate until firm, about 2 hours.
Cut into squares; serve on lettuce-lined salad plates. Garnish with additional pineapple.
