Herb Roasted Chicken
Herb Roasted Chicken is an easy dinner. Made with 2 tbsp. flour, 1/4 tsp. each sage and thyme, 4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts, 2 tbsp. margarine and 1 can cream of chicken soup, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
On waxed paper, mix flour, sage and thyme.
Coat chicken with mixture.
Melt margarine in skillet.
Add pieces of chicken and cook slowly until browned on both sides.
Add soup and 1/2 cup water, stirring to loosen browned bits.
Cover and simmer 5 minutes or until chicken is done.
Serve over hot cooked rice.
