Ham, Potatoes, Cheese In Crock-Pot is an easy slow-cooker meal. Made with 3 to 4 c. leftover ham, cut into bite size pieces, 4 to 6 medium potatoes, uncooked and sliced thin, 2 c. sharp cheddar cheese, grated and 2 cans cream of mushroom soup, undiluted, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
In your crock-pot, layer 2/3 of potatoes, salt and pepper to taste, 1/2 of ham and 1/2 of cheese.
Repeat with 1/3 potatoes, etc.
Try to keep most of the potatoes near the bottom since they have to cook through.
Top with soup.
Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 5 to 6 hours.
I serve with green vegetable and some type of bread or roll.
