In a large bowl, mix dry ingredients.
Crumble with margarine (stir together to mix margarine; will make small clumps of flour coated margarine).
Add buttermilk, raisins and caraway seed.
Mix. Mixture will be sticky.
Flour hands or mixing spoon.
Grease and flour lightly a black iron frying pan or thick aluminum pan.
Put in mixture, spread into pan.
Bake at 400° for 10 minutes, then 350° for 30 minutes or until a knife inserted in the middle comes out clean.
