Fried Peach Pieces
Fried Peach Pieces is an easy dinner. Made with 3 c. fresh peaches, peeled and sliced, 1 c. sugar, 3 c. flour (self-rising), 1/2 c. water and 6 tbsp. shortening, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Place peaches in bowl; sprinkle 1/2 cup sugar over peaches and set aside for about 1 hour.
Place peaches, 1/2 cup water and 1/2 cup sugar in saucepan.
Slowly cook peaches down to pie filling consistency.
If necessary, add 1 or 2 tablespoons cornstarch to thicken.
Place 3 cups flour into a mixing bowl; cut in shortening with a fork.
Slowly add 1 1/2 cups cold water; roll out on floured board.
Roll out about 1/4-inch thick the size of saucer. Spoon 3 or 4 tablespoons pie filling into each round.
Fold over and flute edges with a fork.
Heat vegetable oil in electric skillet between 300° to 325°.
Fry pies until golden brown on both sides.
