Fried Apples - Bryant Style
Fried Apples - Bryant Style is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 to 8 medium apples (winesap or jonathan), 1 stick margarine, 1 1/2 to 2 c. sugar, 1 tsp. white vinegar and dash of salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Core apples (do not peel) and cut into sixths.
In skillet, melt margarine.
Add apples, sugar, vinegar, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and cinnamon candies.
(Candies are for red color as well as flavor.)
Cook slowly (mostly uncovered) for about 45 minutes to 1 hour.
The apples will have cooked out part of their juices. Stir carefully and occasionally.
