Fish Chowder
Fish Chowder is an impressive soup you can prepare in about 1 hour 6 minutes. Made with large potatoes, sliced, medium onions, sliced, (16 oz.) pkg. frozen flounder fillets, thawed and cut into large chunks, c. chopped celery and , whole, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
In covered 5-quart Dutch oven, over medium heat, simmer potatoes, onions, celery, cloves, garlic, salt, bay leaf, dill seed and 1 cup water for about 25 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
Discard cloves.
Add fish, 1 cup water and remaining ingredients.
Heat to boiling; reduce heat to low.
Cover, simmer 5 to 10 minutes until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork. Garnish with parsley.
