Crock-Pot Dressing
Crock-Pot Dressing is an impressive slow-cooker meal you can prepare in just 54 minutes. Made with c. self-rising corn meal, c. self-rising flour, celery, diced, large onion, diced and eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Combine the corn meal, flour, celery, onion and eggs. Add milk and mix to make batter.
Melt 1/2 stick margarine in each of two iron skillets. Add half the batter to each and bake until done. Break up bread in a large bowl.
Add 1 stick melted margarine, soups, sage, chicken and broth and black pepper.
Pour into crock-pot and cook 45 minutes.
