Cream of Broccoli Soup
Cream Of Broccoli Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 lb. broccoli, 10 cubes chicken bouillon, 7 c. hot water, 1/2 lb. butter and 1/4 c. green onions, chopped with some of the tops, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Use equal parts of chicken broth and milk.
Melt butter.
Stir in flour until smooth.
Add to hot broth and milk mixture to thicken.
Saute celery and onions (in butter).
Add to mixture. Add frozen box of spinach which has been thawed first.
Add sliced fresh mushrooms, white pepper and celery salt.
