Crab (Or Shrimp) Bisque
Crab (Or Shrimp) Bisque is an impressive dinner. Made with 1/2 c. chopped onion, 1/2 c. sliced celery, 1/4 c. butter or margarine, 1/2 c. flour and 4 1/2 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Saute onion and celery in butter in large saucepan.
Stir in flour.
Gradually add water.
Heat to boiling.
Reduce heat and boil gently 5 minutes.
Add cream soups and crab or shrimp. Simmer 5 minutes.
Discard bay leaf.
Stir in evaporated milk. Reheat to serving temperature.
Do not boil.
