Corn Meal Rolls
Corn Meal Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sweet milk, 1/2 c. shortening, 1 tsp. salt, 1/2 c. sugar and 1/2 c. sifted meal, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Bring milk to boil, quickly add shortening, salt, sugar and meal; stir and cook until mixture thickens (5 minutes) and cool. Add well beaten eggs, dissolve yeast in warm water and stir into mixture.
Add flour, mix well and put in refrigerator to chill. Remove after 1 hour.
Add enough flour to handle.
Shape into rolls.
Place in greased muffin pans.
Let rise 40 minutes, then bake at 450Β° for 10 to 15 minutes.
Makes a lot.
