Cold Oven Pound Cake

Must start in cold oven.
Cream the margarine, shortening and sugar.
Add 1 egg at a time, beating well.
Add flour and milk alternately.
Add flavoring.
Add baking powder last.
Bake in a large greased tube pan.
Place in a cold oven.
Turn oven to 350Β° and bake for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
Cool in pan.
