Cold Oven Pound Cake
Cold Oven Pound Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 sticks margarine, 1/2 c. crisco, 3 c. sugar, 5 unbeaten eggs and 3 1/2 c. sifted flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Must start in cold oven.
Cream the margarine, shortening and sugar.
Add 1 egg at a time, beating well.
Add flour and milk alternately.
Add flavoring.
Add baking powder last.
Bake in a large greased tube pan.
Place in a cold oven.
Turn oven to 350Β° and bake for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
Cool in pan.
