Mix sugar, flour and butter until fine crumbs are formed.
Reserve 1 cup of this for topping.
To the remaining crumb mixture, stir in remaining ingredients, except pecans.
Spread in 2 greased and floured 8-inch round pans.
Sprinkle with reserved topping mixture and pecans.
Bake in preheated 350Β° oven for 35 to 40 minutes.
These freeze well.
