Christmas Oatmeal Cookies
Christmas Oatmeal Cookies is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 c. shortening, 1 c. brown sugar, 1 c. granulated sugar, 2 eggs, beaten and 1 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Cream shortening, add sugars and cream well.
Add beaten eggs, vanilla and milk.
Add flour sifted with soda, baking powder and salt.
Add raisins, coconut and pecans; mix.
Then add oatmeal last.
Mixture will be thick.
Drop on ungreased cookie sheets, flatten slightly and bake about 10 minutes in 350Β° oven.
Makes about 7 dozen cookies.
