Christmas Day Sausage Ring
Christmas Day Sausage Ring is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 tbsp. cornflakes, 1 lb. sausage, 1 tbsp. minced onion, 3/4 c. fine bread crumbs and 2 tbsp. chopped parsley, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Lightly grease a 7 inch ring mold.
Sprinkle cornflakes in bottom of mold.
Mix sausage, onion, bread crumbs, parsley and egg.
Pat meat mixture into mold.
Bake in preheated 350Β° oven for 15 minutes.
Drain and bake another 15 minutes or until done. Invert mold onto heated platter, garnish with fresh parsley.
Fill center with scrambled eggs if desired.
Sausage ring may be refrigerated or frozen before baking.
Thaw and heat as directed.
