Chicken Noodle Amandine
Chicken Noodle Amandine is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter or margarine, 1 c. slivered almonds, 2 c. sliced mushrooms, 2 tbsp. grated orange peel and 3 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Melt 1/4 cup butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
Add almonds and stir until lightly browned.
Remove from heat.
Set aside.
Melt remaining butter in a clean saucepan over medium heat.
Add mushrooms and saute for 3 minutes.
Add orange peel, salt, pepper, chicken broth and chicken.
Continue cooking an extra minute.
Stir sour cream into chicken mixture; heat through but do not boil.
Serve immediately over hot noodles.
Sprinkle with almonds.
Yields 6 to 8 servings.
