Chicken Burritos
Chicken Burritos is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 to 6 chicken breast halves, 1 can red enchilada sauce, 1 can ortega chilies, whole or diced, 1 small pkg. jack cheese and cooking oil, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Cut chicken into strips and fry in oil "stir-fry" style until all or most pink is gone.
Add sauce and chilies.
Reduce heat and simmer about 15 minutes.
Turn off heat.
Cut cheese into slices and lay on top of chicken mixture.
Cover and let cheese melt. Spoon into flour tortillas and fold into burritos.
Sloppy but delicious!
