Cabbage Soup
Cabbage Soup is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 c. chopped onion, 2 tbsp. butter or margarine, 2 c. shredded cabbage, 10 oz. frozen lima beans, cooked and drained and 1 c. sliced carrots, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Saute onion and butter until tender.
Add cabbage, lima beans, carrots, potatoes, broth and salt.
Cover and bring to boil. Simmer until vegetables are tender.
Melt 1/4 cup butter or margarine in 4 quart kettle.
Blend flour, pepper and paprika. Stir in milk and heat to boiling while stirring.
Boil and stir for 1 minute.
Remove from heat, stir in cheese until melted.
Add vegetables with their liquid to cheese soup base.
Heat to serve.
