Cabbage Rolls
Cabbage Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 big head cabbage, 1 1/2 lb. hamburger, 1 medium onion, 1 egg and ends of 3 slices of bread, soaked in water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Boil cabbage approximately 5 minutes on each side.
Put in colander.
Separate cabbage leaves.
Roll 1 tablespoon of hamburger ingredients into cabbage leaf and put together with a couple of toothpicks.
Brown, in a pan of 1 tablespoon of Crisco, on each side.
Add water with salt and pepper in the same pan.
Cook slowly for 3 minutes.
Mix 2 tablespoons of cornstarch to 1/2 cup water. Add slowly to cabbage in same pan.
Cook until it thickens.
Add a little nutmeg.
