Butterhorn Rolls
Butterhorn Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. scalded milk, 1 stick margarine, 1/4 c. sugar, 1 tsp. salt and 1 pkg. yeast, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Combine milk, margarine, sugar and salt.
Cool to lukewarm. Add yeast and stir.
Add eggs.
Gradually stir in flour.
Knead until smooth.
Let rise until double in bulk.
Divide into three portions.
Roll each portion into a 9-inch circle.
Cut circle into 12 wedges.
Beginning at outer edge, roll up and place seam side down on a greased pan.
Allow plenty of space between each roll. Brush with additional butter.
Cover and let rise.
Bake at 400Β° for 15 minutes.
These freeze well.
Let rise, then shape into rolls.
Freeze on a piece of aluminum foil.
Put in plastic bag. Take out as needed.
Let thaw and rise, then bake.
