Broccoli-Cheese Soup
Broccoli-Cheese Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. chopped onions, 2 tbsp. butter, 1 large can college inn chicken broth, 8 oz. fine egg noodles and 1/8 tsp. garlic powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
In 6-quart pan, saute onions in butter until translucent.
Add chicken broth and bring to a boil.
Add chopped broccoli.
When it boils again, add egg noodles.
Cook 3 minutes.
Add garlic powder and cheese.
Stir continuously until cheese melts.
Add milk and bacon.
Stir frequently to prevent sticking to bottom of pan until heated through.
Serve.
