Blonde Brownies
Blonde Brownies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. flour, 1/2 tsp. salt, 2/3 c. margarine, 2 eggs and 1 (6 oz.) pkg. (1 c.) semi-sweet chocolate chip pieces, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
Combine flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda.
Beat margarine in a large bowl with electric mixer for 30 seconds.
Add brown sugar and beat until well combined.
Add eggs and vanilla and beat well.
Add the flour mixture to the beaten mixture.
Beat at low speed just until combined.
Stir in 1 cup chocolate pieces and pecans.
Spread batter in prepared pan.
Bake at 350Β° for 30 minutes.
Melt 1/2 cup chocolate pieces left and shortening in a small pan and heat over low heat.
Drizzle over bars.
