Barley Pilaff
Barley Pilaff is an easy dinner. Made with 1/2 lb. mushrooms, 1/4 lb. butter, 2 medium onions, chopped, 1 3/4 c. pearl barley and 4 c. chicken broth, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Saute mushrooms and onions in half of the butter.
When tender, place in casserole.
Cook barley in remaining butter over low heat, stirring constantly, until almond colored.
Add to ingredients in casserole and mix together.
Pour broth over all and bake for 1 to 1 1/2 hours at 350Β°.
Cover for first half of cooking time.
