Cook macaroni according to package directions and drain.
Cut margarine and Velveeta into small pieces.
Place in pan, still warm from cooking macaroni, and pour warm macaroni over cheese and margarine.
Cheese and margarine should melt quickly.
Then add 1/2 cup milk.
Place mixture in a casserole dish and place slices of American cheese on top.
Bake at 350Β° for approximately 20 minutes.
