Asparagus Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 tbsp. butter or margarine, 1 tbsp. all-purpose flour, 10 3/4 oz. can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted, 8 oz. shredded cheddar cheese and 2 hard-boiled eggs, sliced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Melt butter over low heat.
Add flour and stir until smooth. Add soup and cheese.
Cook until cheese melts, stirring constantly.
Layer half each of eggs, asparagus and sauce in lightly greased baking dish (10 x 6 x 2-inch).
Repeat.
Sprinkle with breadcrumbs.
Bake at 325Β° for 30 minutes.
