Apple Tea Bread
Apple Tea Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. all-purpose flour, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 2 tsp. baking powder, 1 tsp. cinnamon and 1/2 tsp. cloves, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Heat oven to 325Β°.
Grease and flour 3 empty one pound coffee cans.
In large bowl combine flour, sugar, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves and raisins.
Core the apples and grate into flour mixture. In a saucepan melt margarine.
Remove from heat.
Stir in oil, vanilla and eggs.
Stir butter mixture into dry ingredients. Spoon batter into prepared cans.
Bake 1 1/4 hours or until a cake tester or skewer comes out clean.
Cool in cans for 10 minutes. Remove from cans.
Cool completely.
Wrap and store overnight before slicing.
