Sour Cream Coffee Cake
Sour Cream Coffee Cake is an impressive dessert you can prepare in about 1 hour 34 minutes. Made with c. butter or margarine, softened, c. sugar, divided, . vanilla, eggs and c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
In large bowl, cream butter and 2 cups sugar until fluffy. Add vanilla, then eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
In separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
Add sour cream to butter and egg mixture; mix well. Slowly stir in flour mixture until batter is smooth.
Spoon 1/2 of batter into a greased 10-inch tube pan.
Combine cinnamon, nuts and remaining sugar; sprinkle 1/2 over batter in pan.
Spoon in remaining batter and top with cinnamon/nuts mixture.
Bake at 350Β° for 50 to 60 minutes until tested done.
Cool 15 minutes before removing from pan.
Makes 16 to 20 servings.
